A Rainy Day Cadet Sensation

Forgive my nerd showing here, but I had to share this.

The glorious mixture of yellow lighting and rushed photographers meant a lot of photo correction at the Academy today. Playing with sharpening and exposures, I noticed the background of a photo that grabbed me for some reason.

It's a constant challenge for me to decide which photos are 'good' versus those that aren't. Focus, perfect lighting, and precision can be overrated, don't you think? I loved the stippled, rainy day haziness this photo brought to me. This photo transcends documenting the event- it remembers it.
