A Quiet Thanksgiving

I think it's so fitting that my first time spending the night at the new house is on Thanksgiving. I woke up this morning after a surprisingly refreshing night sleeping on a pile of blankets on the floor, and got to enjoy seeing what the morning light does to the house (spoiler: it's completely frickin' gorgeous).

So I started snapping photos of the things I'm thankful for just today alone. The day off to enjoy my new home, a hot shower, Irish Cream-themed coffee and strawberry cereal, a mantle to toss decorations onto, bargain finds from thrift shopping with a new friend yesterday, and texts first thing in the morning from the people who love me. I may be alone today, but I'm certainly still thankful.
